Awesomity Lab is a software development company based in Kigali Rwanda. The name Awesomity comes from combining Awesome and Creativity, the two words that stand pillar of all our work. Our four co-founders, who all graduated from lycee de Kigali class of 2014 have worked tirelessly to build a company that has developed solutions for more than 10 clients across Africa. We specialize in using the power of technology to build mobile applications and web platforms, putting maximum effort on creating the best USER INTERFACE and USER EXPERIENCE for our clients.
From 2015, Awesomity Lab has evolved from just a software product company to software service company. with products like Academia, an e-learning management system and Umbrella, a sexual reproductive health platform for women, Awesomity remains a leader in creating quality solutions for the Rwandan and African markets.
To get funding for these 2 products, Awesomity started as a software services company instead. This approach proved effective to generate revenue quickly. Now Awesomity has grown to become a software services and products company.
It all started with a 6 months long program by HEHE Labs (now DMM.HeHe), where our co-founders dedicated time to perfecting their skills in building apps and web platforms. Awesomity Lab emerged from combining the power of two companies QuickRide a car tracking app and Ijisho a community based social media platform.
We are a team of 15+ people sharing the awesome vision to provide technological solutions for Rwanda and Africa. Our team of developers and designers are dedicated to creating local solutions to local problems with the aim of becoming the leading Web and Mobile Apps provider in Rwanda by 2022.
